Eligibility Criteria:
To become an officer in the PAF,
you must meet certain eligibility criteria:

You must be a Pakistani
citizen, including residents of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The age requirements vary
depending on the branch you are applying for. Generally, it ranges from 16.5 to
24 years.

Minimum educational
qualifications include Intermediate (F.Sc, Pre-Engineering/Pre-Medical/ICS) or
equivalent for most branches.

weight, physical fitness, and medical standards set by the PAF.
Application Process:
Follow these steps to apply for a
commission in the PAF:
1. Visit the official PAF website (https://www.joinpaf.gov.pk/) during the
registration period.
2. Complete the online registration form with accurate and
up-to-date information.
3. After registration, you will be notified about the date and
location for the initial test.
Selection Process:
The selection process consists of
several stages:
1. Initial Test: This test evaluates your academic knowledge, intelligence,
and aptitude.
2. Intelligence Test: Candidates who pass the initial test are
invited for an intelligence test to assess their mental capabilities.
3. Academic Test: You will undergo an academic test to evaluate
your knowledge in various subjects.
4. Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates are called for a
comprehensive medical examination at the PAF medical centers.
5. Interview: If you clear the medical examination, you will be
interviewed by an interview panel to assess your communication skills, leadership
qualities, and motivation.
6. ISSB Testing: Successful candidates move on to the Inter
Services Selection Board (ISSB) testing, which includes psychological tests,
group discussions, interviews, and physical tasks.
7. Final Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the ISSB
undergo a final medical examination at the Central Medical Board (CMB) to
determine their medical fitness.
8. Merit List and Training Offer: Based on your performance
throughout the selection process, a merit list will be prepared. If you are
selected, you will be offered training at the prestigious PAF Academy in
Risalpur.

and specializations for officers, including General Duty Pilot, Engineering,
Air Defense, Administration, and more. The training at the PAF Academy aims to
develop your leadership skills, physical fitness, and technical knowledge.
